How I work

I have been in your position and can help you. Taking that first step can be the hardest, and that’s why I’ll be with you during the entire process if that makes it easier.

During a free, confidential consultation in your home, I will assess your space and its issues. I listen to you and consider your life, who you are, your goals and your needs, and discuss what systems may or may not have worked for you.

After our initial consultation, you’ll get my follow-up email detailing a plan that’s customized to you and the scope of your needs, including budget, projected time frame, specific recommendations and a floorplan if necessary.

With great respect for your possessions - and an understanding they may be infused with memories - we will work together on what you need to make a positive change in your life. In most cases, clutter and disorganization didn’t happen overnight, and I have developed a proven system that simplifies the work. You’ll see results and possibilities immediately, giving you the inspiration to continue. With my help, the process of transformation will not be overwhelming.

Once we start a project, I will provide ideas and plans to maintain your new space as we go. I want you to feel empowered and confident.
If your project is larger and calls for re-decorating and new purchases, I’ll work within your budget, even shopping with you if that’s your preference.

I may not advocate buying anything, as I’ve found that curating your possessions and moving your existing furniture gives a fresh, new look without spending money. My system includes being as green as possible, so we will re-purpose and donate what you don’t need to charity.

Besides giving you an organized and beautiful space, remember that clutter is hazardous, contributing to tripping accidents or worse - fire. When outlets and electrical cords are buried under or behind clutter, they can spark and start a blaze, and may trap you from getting out.
